The third edition of the Build Your House (BYH) Exhibition – Qatar’s pioneering homebuilding and renovation event will be held at Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) from 28 to 30 March 2022.

The event has brought together leading industry experts, government entities, and Qatari nationals. Enabling guests to gain expert advice, discover the latest architectural and interior trends, connect with consultants who may help lead projects, and acquire the materials required to build their dream home.

Ever since its launch in 2020, BYH Exhibition has received firm support from the government helping create a solid foundation for the future of the BYH Exhibition.

Each edition witnessed significant growth in stature, an increase in the scope of exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, contractors, participating government entities, and an increase in the number of visitors anticipating high standards of knowledge sharing, participation, and support.

The increase of attraction to new builds, renovations, and construction materials can be considered as a matter of interest for consultants, contractors, and suppliers.

Qatar’s construction sector was able to bounce back in 2021 from the setbacks caused by the global pandemic. The data obtained from the Planning and Statistics Authority shows 9,500 issued building permits in 2021. However, these numbers are to increase due to growth in Qatar’s economy impacting the construction sector running up to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.

Mr. Rawad Sleem, Co-Founder and General Manager of NeXTfairs or Exhibitions and Conferences, said: “Due to the exceptional assistance we have received from government entities and the robust relationships we have developed with sponsors, exhibitors and our loyal Qatari visitors, we expect to reach new milestones with the third edition of BYH Exhibition.”

“Each edition of the exhibition has generated an estimated value of QR400M worth of signed deals, enabling BYH Exhibition to assert itself as an event where business takes place. Given the strong support we have received from past and new participants, we are positive that this number will be exceeded in 2022,” he added.

Qatari homebuilders can look forward to discovering more about the latest innovation in smart home technology via BYH Exhibition’s Knowledge Sharing Conference. In addition to a varied program of speakers, masterclasses, and live demos sharing expertise and insights, this year’s edition includes a virtual conference themed Future & Smart Living.

Based on the rising trend for user-friendly features and tech-oriented residential properties, the Future & Smart Living Conference will feature the latest innovation, which offers a cost-effective and energy-saving living environment for homeowners and families.

BYH Exhibition is a vital platform that stimulates the housebuilding industry, inspires learning and development, and enables Qatari homebuilders to tap into smart solutions and sustainable materials to construct homes fit for the future.

Visitors can gain information about the complete construction cycle from planning through to design, explore new trends, compare materials, and hire the contracts they need to execute their new build or renovation.

More exhibition program details will be released in the coming weeks. Highlights include the Junior Designer Competition, which seeks to encourage creativity and enable students to hone their interior design skills. Plus, further information about the exclusive prize-winning raffle draw will be given, which is open to all event attendees.

Visitor safety is of utmost importance. BYH Exhibition will strictly follow guidance and regulation issued by the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) and ensure that the venue is sanitized twice each day. Participants and visitors’ health status via the Ehteraz app will be checked before being allowed inside, and mask-wearing will be reinforced.
