United Nations Second World Summit for Social Development Doha 2025

Join global leaders, civil society, academics, private sector representatives, and UN Member States at the Second World Summit for Social Development, held in Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) from 4 to 6 November 2025. Convened under the resolutions 78/261 and 78/318 of the UN General Assembly, the Summit seeks to renew the global commitment to the Copenhagen Declaration on Social Development and its Programme of Action, and to accelerate implementation of the 2030 Agenda amid rising inequality, demographic changes, and technological and environmental shifts. Key outcomes will include the adoption of a Political Declaration to guide efforts towards poverty eradication, social inclusion, decent work, and ensuring that no one is left behind.
